Quest Confections

Say what, Quest Peanut Butter Cups! Okay, I have a habit of working with songs for Quest launches that never... leave... my brain... This tune by Box of Beats is no exception.

 Quest Peanut Butter Cups (and the follow up Candy Bites) posed an interesting creative challenge. On the one hand, we knew we had a huge new product that Quest fans would go crazy for. On the other, we were stuck at home and on Zoom in the middle of a pandemic, and creative production wasn't exactly easy.

Our solution was to outsource the actual video production to content creators who could send us footage (shot to a provided brief) that we could compile. We brought on a fun group of people with very unique talents - the idea being that Quest has achieved the impossible with products that taste amazing and have almost no sugar, and these folks do the same with their wild skills.

Brandon Martinez (Box of Beats) provided the awesome a capella beats that would form the back bone of each launch.

The packaging was designed to form a distinct sub-family within the Quest product portfolio. These products needed to hang together, and strike a balance between standing out as a distinct confections line while still looking consistent with the brand.

 We opted for a subtle two-tone background to achieve this, and some movement/energy within the photography for a fun candy feel.

From here, the look was expanded to a vast number of creative assets: in-store displays and other collateral, digital advertising, pages for Amazon and other retailers, and of course plenty of organic social media content.

Finally, as Covid restrictions allowed, we teamed up with production company More Media and director Brandon Nicholas to create 15 and 30 second TV commercials for broadcast, OTT, and paid social placements.
